Fitch Ratings-Taipei/Singapore-17 July 2006: Fitch Ratings has today announced the launch of a new Taiwanese website, www.fitchratings.com.tw, for investors and capital market participants in Taiwan.
The website is available in English and Mandarin, and features new rating actions press releases and rating lists for financial institutions, insurance, corporations, and sovereigns, as well as securities issues and structured finance transactions rated by Fitch. The website also contains ratings definitions and criteria reports, sector presentations, and announcements of upcoming Fitch Ratings events in Taiwan.
Additionally, the site provides market participants with research on issuers covered by Fitch's leading corporate, financial institutions, insurance and sovereign teams dedicated to the Taiwanese market. The agency currently rates in excess of 70 issuers in Taiwan. The website also features Fitch analytical comments on the most important business and economic developments affecting the investment climate in the Asia-Pacific region.
