惠譽國際信用評等股份有限公司-臺北/北京/首爾/新加坡-2009年3月11日：作為惠譽針對亞太地區科技產業進行全面評等檢視之一部分，惠譽信評對宏碁股份有限公司(宏碁)、華碩電腦股份有限公司(華碩)與廣達電腦股份有限公司(廣達)的信用評等進行負向調整。此次評等更動的詳細內容與理由，與惠譽同時對亞太地區十七家受評企業採取評等動作的完整名單如下所述。
宏碁 :
- 確認長期外國貨幣與本國貨幣發行人違約評等皆為「BBB-」，評等展望調整由穩定為負向。
- 確認國內長期評等為「A(twn)」。評等展望調整由穩定為負向。
華碩 :
- 調降長期外國貨幣與本國貨幣發行人違約評等皆為「BB+」(原為「BBB-」) 。評等列入負向評等觀察。
- 調降國內長期評等為「A-(twn)」(原為「A(twn)」)。評等列入負向評等觀察。
廣達 :
- 確認長期外國貨幣與本國貨幣發行人違約評等皆為「BB」。評等展望由正向調整為負向。
- 確認國內長期評等為「BBB+(twn) 」。評等展望由正向調整為負向。
「這次的評等調整反映惠譽認為此三家個人電腦公司其2009年的營運表現因全球經濟風暴而惡化是難以避免的看法，因為預期中衰退可能至少延續到2010年年中。個人電腦公司可能面臨顯著的需求下滑，因為企業和消費者購買或升級個人電腦的能力已經削弱。」惠譽信評亞太區電信、媒體與科技企業評等副總經理張崇人表示。
惠譽的看法是，宏碁的營收與利潤率於2009年可能縮減。雖然該公司2008年第4季非合併營收年成長10.7%，成功拉近與戴爾(A/穩定)在個人電腦市佔率的差距，並在筆記型電腦方面達到相當接近惠普(A+/穩定)的市佔率，惠譽對其主要市場-歐洲與美國-負數的經濟成長預測強烈暗示宏碁不太可能免於受到全球經濟趨緩的負面影響。
廣達身為世界最大的筆記型電腦製造商，2008年第4季仍經歷約15%之營收年減幅。惠譽相信廣達於2009年在維持其利潤率時將因為同業間的高度競爭而面臨挑戰。惠譽相信個人電腦品牌公司，亦即廣達之客戶，在目前消沈的營運環境下將更為強調可降低成本之解決方案。
華碩2008年第4季的自有品牌營收較前一年同期下滑6.3%，並使其稅息折舊攤銷前利潤率降至負7.2%。惠譽認為華碩的產品設計依然優異，但在低價小筆電方面的先驅優勢正在消失。此外，華碩100%持有的和碩聯合科技股份有限公司，不但遭逢母公司於生產分散策略下減少下單量，亦面對來自其他與華碩競爭的個人電腦品牌公司不甚穩定的代工需求。
惠譽預期上述三家個人電腦公司來自營運的資金流量(不含營運資金變動)於2009年將會下降。如果獲利能力繼續衰退、增加付息負債、擴大資本支出、提高股利發放而使自由現金流量持續呈現負數或升高財務槓桿，可能導致惠譽進一步調降其評等。

惠譽信評的「 國內信用評等」提供了受評機構在某些國家主權評等相對較低的國家內債信的相對衡量以滿足當地的需求。在該特定國家內最佳的評等為「AAA」，而其他債信則為相對之風險等級。國內信用評等的設計是為了當地投資人在當地市場投資所使用，故在評等等級之後加上所在國家之註記以為區別，例如「AAA(twn)」以代表台灣的國內信用評等。因此，各國國內信用評等等級無法在國際間相互比較。
