Fitch Ratings-Taipei/Seoul/Hong Kong-18 December 2009: Fitch Ratings has today affirmed Taiwan's Eastern Broadcasting Co., Ltd.'s (EBC) Long-term foreign and local currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) at 'BB-', National Long-term rating at 'BBB(twn)', and National Short-term rating at 'F3(twn)'. The Outlook is Stable. The agency has simultaneously withdrawn all ratings and will no longer provide ratings or analytical coverage of this issuer.
