惠譽-台北/香港/新加坡-2010年7月13日：惠譽國際信用評等公司今日確認新光人壽保險公司(新光人壽)的國際保險公司財務實力評等為‘BB+’，國內保險公司財務實力評等為 ‘A-(twn)’，評等展望維持為‘負向’。同時惠譽撤銷新光人壽的所有評等。
新光人壽的評等確認係基於該公司在管理其資本部位時展現的紀律與財務彈性。在2008年及2009年成功完成的資本充實計畫減輕了該公司立即的資本壓力。儘管如此，惠譽對新光人壽的評等仍維持負向展望，係由於惠譽認為持續偏低的長期利率將抑制資產收益，而持續對該公司的獲利能力及資本水準造成壓力。
惠譽將不再提供以上公司之評等及信評分析。
